Nova Lines
Nova Lines is a fast-growing, premier flatbed trucking company. Upon relocating their headquarters to a larger building in Bridgeview, Illinois, Nova Lines aimed to infuse their brand into the new space. Already equipped with a logo and color palette, Cornerstone Architects called in the Machine to strengthen and expand the Nova Lines brand for interior design purposes. We provided project management, consulted on strategy, and offered creative services, including design and photography.
In the discovery phase, we interviewed Nova Lines stakeholders to learn about the company’s history, services, customers, competitors, internal team, core values, and vision for its future. We reviewed current marketing assets, researched the client’s industry and competitors, and researched branding solutions for interior design.
The next phase required several rounds of presentations and reviews as we worked through numerous ideas and flushed out several design concepts. The client selected separate themes for the office and warehouse sections of the building. The office would be clean, modern, and professional, highlighting how Nova Lines relates to their customers and the world. The warehouse, housing a drivers’ lounge, training room, and truck shop, would celebrate the driver experience. We scheduled an initial scouting photo shoot to generate sample imagery for the design concepts.
Next, we took the concepts and rolled with them. We performed the final photo shoot and photo editing. We went through several more rounds of fine-tuning the design, ensuring that all the individual design projects worked cohesively. We met with the signage company to understand opportunities and avoid potential problems.
As project manager, we coordinated with the signage company, painters, and flooring company to produce all deliverables on the design project.
